Mining

The legacy of SVS group started with iron ore mining operations... which was carried out by the group since 1959. The mines were spread in an area of over 150 hectares situated in the Sandur-Hospet region.

Sponge Iron

The group owns a 100 TPD sponge iron manufacturing unit in the name... of Saivijay Pragati Steel Udyog Pvt. Ltd. situated at Harovinahalli Village, near Hospet with a long term vision of forward integration of steel with a proposal to set up rolling mill and induction furnace in the near future. The group is also associated with 3 more sponge iron units and the production capacity per day is around 600 MTs with captive power.

Wind Power

True to its commitment for green energy, the group owns and operates... a 3 MW wind power generation unit situated at Hanumasagara, Kushtagi in Koppal district.

Horticulture

As part of diversification, the group has built a farm where organic... alphanso mangoes, mahagani, hebbeau plants, pomegranate, guava, custard apple, sapota, water melon and other fruits are grown. The farms are spread over 50 acres with a plan of having a food processing unit wherein fruit pulp can be extracted and sent to food industries for making juices and jams.

Real Estate

This vertical of business is in its incubation stage and soon real estate projects... are being planned in the newly formed Vijayanagara District and Mysuru in Karnataka.

Dairy Products

A private limited company in the name and style of Shivaanshi Exports... Private Limited is coming up dedicated to the business of manufacturing and sale of dairy products.

Hospitality

A state of the art wellness centre, restaurant and hospitality centre is... coming up in the vicinity of world heritage city of Hampi, Karnataka.

CSR

The SVS Group believes in giving back to the society. With this thought in mind, the group opened a not-for-profit in the name of S V Chetty Foundation.

Under the aegis of S V Chetty Foundation, the group has undertaken several socially impacting causes like blood donation camps, eye check-up camps, funding for education of HIV affected children, distribution of study kits to students of Harovinahalli village where the sponge iron manufacturing unit is situated.

The COVID-19 pandemic hit the world in 2020 and it has affected lives of millions all over the world. The S V Chetty Foundation was at the forefront to provide relief to the affected. The Foundation contributed towards purchase of Oxygen Concentrators and was involved in food distribution to the needy.

In the coming years, the S V Chetty Foundation sees itself undertaking more and more socially responsible activities aimed at improving the lives of the downtrodden and the needy.
